Eagle syndrome is characterized by an elongated styloid process or a calcified styloid ligament causing recurrent craniofacial and throat pain [1]. Although conventional radiographs provide a rough idea of the anatomy, it is difficult to get the diagnosis due to superimposed anatomical structures and a CT scan (in particular 3-D CT scan) represents an extremely valuable imaging tool [2].
