Scroll type variable delivery compressor

PURPOSE: To simplify the structure of the variable delivery mechanism of a scroll type compressor and smoothly vary the discharge capacity in multistage form. CONSTITUTION: A cylinder 8a directing toward a center part from the outer peripheral part is installed at the edge part of a fixed scroll member 8. A bypass hole group 8b consisting of a plurality of bypass holes for the communication between the cylinder and the operation spaces V a1 -V a3 is opened, and a plunger 10 for closing the bypass hole group in succession is inserted into the cylinder 8a. When the plunger 10 is at the position shown on the figure, a large number of operation spaces V a communicate to a suction pressure chamber Vs through the bypass hole group 8b and the cylinder 8a and does not carry out compression action, while if the plunger 10 is shifted to the outer peripheral part, the bypass hole group is closed in succession, and the number of operation spaces V a which carry out the effective compression action increases, and the discharge capacity is increased smoothly.
