The invention relates to a method for preparing 5-(2-fluorophenyl)-1H-pyrryl-3-formaldehyde, which comprises the following step: reacting 5-(2-fluorophenyl)-1H-pyrryl-3-methanol in an organic solvent in the presence of bromate, bromide and acid to obtain the 5-(2-fluorophenyl)-1H-pyrryl-3-formaldehyde.
