Treatment of tuberculosis adopted by the Saudi National Tuberculosis Control Program Committee

Tuberculosis still exists in Saudi Arabia at a significant rate, urging the National Tuberculosis Control Program to establish local recommendations for its treatment. Five categories of pulmonary tuberculosis cases are described and a suitable drug regimen is selected for each category. Guidelines are also given for dealing with drug toxicity and for management of non-compliance and drug resistance.
