Evaluation of Tourism Climate Index in Anzali Wetland and Proposing Its Calendar

To know the potential ecotourism of an area is to study the land, types of plants and undisturbed plants of that area. Indeed, some travelers aim to go to the nature and visit the attractions of that area, but this joy is not achievable unless a comfortable climate is provided for the tourists. Tourism climate index systematically assesses the problem of the region's tourism environment. Its main aim is to find favorable months in terms of tourism in Anzali Wetland. To calculate this index, the average of Monthly average maximum daily temperature, mean daily temperature, minimum relative humidity, average daily relative humidity, precipitation, wind velocity and total sunshine hours are used. The method used in this study is the Tourism Climate Index (TCI) that is the recognized benchmark classification. The result of the study showed that the months of April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, March, are the suitable months during the warm months for tourism in Anzali Wetland .There is less comfort in other months during the cold period of winter for tourists on the other hand, those who like fishing find these months appropriate.
