Hepatic Granuloma Due to a Nymph of Linguatula Serrata in a Woman from Michigan: a Case Report and Review of the Literature

Abstract There have been seven cases of human infection by nymphs of Linguatula serrata reported from the United States. Only three of these, however, are proven to be autochthonous. We report a rare case of hepatic granuloma due to a nymph of L. serrata in a woman from Michigan. She had never left the continental United States.
