The purpose of the present invention is to provide a gas absorption column, wherein it is possible to prevent damages from occurring during assembly work, to simplify assembly work, and to improve work efficiency. A gas absorption column (10), which absorbs gas by bringing a gaseous body into contact with a liquid, is provided with an introduction unit (20) into which a gaseous body and liquid is introduced from the outside, an absorption unit (21) which absorbs gas by bringing the gaseous body and liquid supplied from the introduction unit into contact with one another, and a discharge unit (24) for discharging the gaseous body subjected to gas absorption to the outside. The absorption unit is provided with a tubular pipe component (11) in which an inner space into which the gaseous body is supplied is formed, and a spray device (12) for spraying the liquid to the gaseous body within the inner space. The tubular pipe component is formed to be divided into multiple sections in the central axial direction. The tubular pipe component contains a lower tube (31) and an upper tube (32) formed in the shape of a tube when assembled. The lower tube (31) and the upper tube (32) are formed to each have a shape that cuts the tubular body in the central axial direction.
