Countermeasures on Industry Shifting and Sustainable Development of North-eastern Resource-based Cities

Industry transition and sustainable development of resource-based cities are key problems in the revitalization of old industrial base in north-eastern China. The corresponding countermeasure on propelling the transition and sustainable development, suggested in this paper, covers selecting and developing new substitute industries properly, finding solutions for employment, improving and protecting environment, and looking for the supports and aids from government.
