Chloroprene rubber improved by employing ionomer

The invention discloses a chloroprene rubber improved by employing ionomer, which consists of components in the following part by weight: 90-110 parts by weight of chloroprene rubber, 2-8 parts by weight of magnesia, 2-6 parts by weight of zinc oxide, 1-3 parts by weight of anti-aging agent, 20-60 parts by weight of carbon black, 50-70 parts by weight of calcium carbonate, 4-8 parts by weight of No. 20 engine oil, 0.2-0.8 parts by weight of accelerator and 5-15 parts by weight of ionomer. The chloroprene rubber of the invention is prepared by adding the raw materials to a sealed chamber and wrapping in a roller. The chloroprene rubber has remarkable cold resistance and processibility, can be used for preparing a cable sheath, in particular a cable sheath for mining purpose.
