Frame design for vehicular flex ray network based on transmission reliability

2017
Flex Ray as a new generation of automotive network protocol, and has been applied to the vehicle safety critical control system. Frame packing is the key problem in vehicular communication design, because it is directly related to communication reliability and network utilization. In this paper, the transmission reliability and time slot utilization of Flex Ray networks are defined and their quantitative calculation formulas are derived, and based on the formulas, the frame packing model is transformed into generalized integer linear programming and optimization model, and a hybrid FFD-FPBOR algorithm for transmission reliability is proposed. Experimental results show that the algorithm can optimize the signal combination and static slot allocation, and reduce the computational complexity. Compared with the existing frame filling methods, this method has more advantages in slot utilization and execution time.
