Mössbauer study of the calcium substituted cobalt ferrite

Abstract We have studied by means of Mossbauer Spectroscopy, samples of Ca y Co 1− y Fe 2 O 4 in the range y = 0.00, 0.05 and 0.10. The cation distributions in the A and B sites have been established as well as the supertransferred field contributions, considering the approximation of random occupation of cations in the A sites.
