PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery for analysis capable of improving observation accuracy without reducing durability.SOLUTION: Through-holes 18 and 40 formed on substrates 14 and 16 forming an overlapping part 12 of a battery 10 for analysis are formed to be reduced from outer surfaces of the substrates 14 and 16 at a side facing the outside of the overlapping part 12 to inner surfaces at the side facing the inside. In the overlapping part 12, at least one of an anode active material 26 and a cathode active material 30 is disposed between transmission films 20 of an observation window 50 formed between the through-holes 18 and 40 opposing each other. Inside of the overlapping part 12, at least one pillar 46 is provided between a first position P1 where marginal parts 18a and 40a of the through-holes 18 and 40 at the outer surface sides of the substrates 14 and 16 oppose each other, and a second position P2 where marginal parts 18b and 40b of the through-holes 18 and 40 at the inner surface sides oppose each other, and at least one spacer 48 is provided closer to a peripheral edge part P3 of the overlapping part 12 than the first position P1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
