This review considers features of the damaging effect of drugs on the liver. The classification of hepatotoxic action (HTA) of drugs is presented. The article classifies the pathological conditions developed in HTA of drugs, characterizes the main mechanisms underlying HTA, and describes the existing measures for preventing HTA of medicinal products.
