Cylinder and production method thereof

The invention discloses a cylinder which has continuous natural textures and high utilization rate of raw materials and can utilize processing residues of rotary cut veneers. The cylinder is characterized by comprising a cylinder core, a cylinder interlayer and a cylinder surface layer, wherein the cylinder interlayer is formed by spirally winding and gluing slips according to shapes; the cylinder surface layer is formed by successively bonding bamboo canes on the side surface of the cylinder interlayer along the peripheral direction. The production method of the cylinder comprises the following steps: manufacturing the cylinder core and preparing the materials of the cylinder interlayer. The production method fully utilizes bamboo wood, increases the utilization rate, turns waste into wealth, reduces the production cost and saves resources. The manufactured cylinder core is a bamboo tube with inside sticks or wood tree trunk or wood tree core, so that the strength is improved, and the deformation quantity is reduced. The cylinder surface layer or the cylinder interlayer is an arc-shaped slip formed by compressing bamboo splits or veneer strips or is formed by spirally winding connecting slips formed by head-tail connecting of the arc-shaped slips, has continuous beautiful natural textures, and is not easy to craze. The bamboo canes of the cylinder surface layer are not closely arranged, so that the cylinder surface layer and the cylinder interlayer form uneven surfaces and generate a sound absorbing effect.
