The objective of this research was to determine the effect of bioethanol-gasoline blended fuels on the performance SI Engine compared with varying gasoline at the market. The experimental test was using gasoline with octane number 88, 92, 98, with 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20% bioethanol blends. The effect of the bioethanol-gasoline blend on performance SI engine 150 CC is increased research octane number, and to decrease heating value with increasing blending bioethanol can decreasing power and increasing fuel consumption.
