Efficacy of Deanxit on anxiety and depression in patients of bile reflux remnant gastrits

Objective To observe the therapeutic effects of Deanxit on anxiety and depression in bile reflux remnant gastritis patients.Methods 49 patients with bile reflux remnant gastritis combined with anxiety and depression,evaluated with Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA) and Hamilton Rating Scale for Depression(HAMD),were randomly assigned into two groups: treatment group and control group.24 cases of control group took Domperidone and Hydrotalcite chewable tablets(conventional treatment).25 cases of treatment group received conventional treatment plus Deanxit.The period for the treatment was 4 weeks.Two groups were compared with differences of symptom scale scores and quality of life scale scores after 4 weeks.Results The response rate of treatment group was 88.0%,higher than 62.5% in the control group after 4 weeks(P0.01).The scores in treatment group before and after treatment had significant difference(P0.01).Conclusion In patients with bile reflux remnant gastrits combined with anxiety and depression,it is necessary to evaluate the levels of anxiety and depression.Combination of the conventional treatment and application of Deanxit,is a remarkable effective method for patients of bile reflux remnant gastrits complicated with anxiety and depression.
