The gradient magnetic field pulse waveform accurately approximated, in order also to improve the image quality in imaging section changes and oblique imaging, MRI apparatus of the present invention, by dividing the waveform of the gradient magnetic field pulses into a plurality of sections, each section define the approximate function, using the parameters of the approximate function is corrected k-space coordinates to place the echo signal. Moreover, using the measurement signal, to find the optimal parameters of the approximate function of the waveform shape of the gradient pulses.
