Phenomenology of B(s) decays

1994
Using the QCD sum rules technique we study several aspects of the phenomenology of the $b$-flavored strange meson ${\overline{B}}_{s}^{0}$. In particular, we evaluate the mass of the particle, the leptonic constant, and the form factors of the decays ${\overline{B}}_{s}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}D_{s}^{}{}_{}{}^{+}{l}^{\ensuremath{-}}\overline{\ensuremath{\nu}}$, ${\overline{B}}_{s}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}D_{s}^{}{}_{}{}^{*+}{l}^{\ensuremath{-}}\overline{\ensuremath{\nu}}$, ${\overline{B}}_{s}^{0}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{K}^{*+}{l}^{\ensuremath{-}}\overline{\ensuremath{\nu}}$. We also calculate, in the factorization approximation, a number of two-body nonleptonic ${\overline{B}}_{s}^{0}$ decays. Finally, we compare our evaluation of the ${\mathrm{SU}(3)}_{F}$-breaking effects in the ${\overline{B}}_{s}^{0}$ channel to other estimates.
