Interoperabilidad en el uso de la metodología BIM

2018
The lack of interoperability, understood as the ability to communicate and exchange information between systems, is one of the main sources of errors and inefficiencies in the construction processes. With the adoption by the construction sector of the BIM methodology, and therefore the increase in collaboration in the creation and management of the digital model, there is a need to improve the interoperability between agents, processes and SW tools. The adoption of a common and standardized language allows reaching the maximum potential of the BIM methodology Far this reason, SW tools have incorporated the ISO 16789 standard, called IFC, in order to connect the different disciplines that intervene in a project.
