Theory of multipulse spin locking in the two-index-interaction approximation

Abstract A novel approach to the analysis of effective interactions describing periodically perturbed systems is proposed. The effective Hamiltonian is calculated and analysed in the case of a macroscopic system of dipolar coupled spin- 1 2 particles subject to a pulsed sequence of multipulse spin locking.
