DIETA NATURAL DE Macrodon ancylodon (BLOCH & SCHNEIDER, 1801) CAPTURADA POR EMBARCAÇÕES PESQUEIRAS INDUSTRIAIS SEDIADAS NO ESTADO DO PARÁ

2015
Specimens of Macrodon ancylodon were collected from December 2010 to November 2011, the Amapa coast to the coast of Para, using two networks simultaneously trawling for fish and shrimp, and made six daily samples with an average duration of 2h. In the laboratory of M. ancylodon stomachs were fixed in formalin at 4%, taken for weighing and analysis of food items, calculated the Frequency of Occurrence (Fi), Volumetric Analysis Index (Vi), Alimentary Index (Ali). The items of greatest Fi and AII were the shrimp fragments (Fi = 29.72 = 742.92 and IIA), fish fragments (Fi = 27.83 = 695.75 and IIA), Penaeidae (Fi = 8.02 and AII = 200.47) and Polychaetas (Fi = 6.84 and AII = 170.99). With the results of ANOVA (α = 5%) we observed high statistical significance in the total weight of the individual relationship by fishing zone (p <0.01) and Zone 2 (Foz do Amazonas) the highest average rating for this factor, as well as the rainy season (p <0.01) confirmed by the Tukey test. Fragments shrimp were the most frequent, however, showed less weight. On the other hand, the fish were less frequent, with higher weight. It is observed that the diet of the species is quite diverse, especially during the rainy season. This variety of food components is also observed as the size classes, where individuals with 15.1 and 20 cm showed a more diverse diet. This study found that the species has carnivorous habits, with preference primarily crustaceans, fish and Polychaetas Keywords: Sciaenidae, stomachs, food components.
