The Occurrence of Wilms Tumor in 2 Patients with Exstrophy of the Bladder

Abstract Wilms tumor and exstrophy of the bladder are 2 well known pathological entities affecting the pediatric population. While both have been described independently as occurring in association with other congenital anomalies and disease states, their association with each other has heretofore never been described. We report on 2 patients with exstrophy of the bladder in whom Wilms tumor was diagnosed subsequently.
