Identification of ε'-Fe2N and ε'-Fe3N superstructures studied with high-resolution electron microscopy

Abstract The identification of e ′ -Fe 2 N and e ′ -Fe 3 N nitrides, which have similar crystal structures, was studied according to the dynamical electron diffraction theory and image analysis. The nitrogen sub-lattice images in e ′ -Fe 2 N, which are different from those in e ′ -Fe 3 N, were observed by high-resolution electron microscopy.
