Práctica académica en Harinagro S.A

2020
Foods of animal origin are highly consumed in people's daily lives, these foods also generate by-products which are not consumed and are discarded for treatment plants or garbage dumps. At Harinagro S.A., they take these by-products and process them to be converted into flour for animal consumption and thus minimize the environmental impact that these can generate by not being processed. The by-product processes are divided by several lines depending on the raw material received, such as feathers, viscera, blood, tallow, bones, chicken shells, chickens, among others. Different types of machines are used in each process where they are handled from high pressures, cooking and frying to reach the final product. In the development of the academic practice, work is done on coordinating the dangerous energy program, carrying out the inventory and characterization of the plant machines and identifying those that had a high risk potential for the workers, the technical sheets are created. For correct locking and tagging to carry out corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance, maintenance is monitored to observe improvement activities that can be implemented and intervened immediately, and personnel involved in maintenance areas are trained.
