Avaliação geomorfométrica de campo de murundus no Chapadão do Diamante, Serra da Canastra, Minas Gerais, Brasil

2020
The semi ellipsoidal shape microreliefs are common in murundus fields, especially in the Cerrado. In Serra da Canastra, located to the west of the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil, these features are observed in the landscape, which predominates in areas with poor drainage conditions, especially during the rainy season. This study proposed the geomorphometric mapping of an area of 1 hectare, to quantify each microrelief, based on aerophotogrammetry performed by RPA or UAV and its by-products (DEM and orthomosaic). Initially, 158 forms were individualized automatically, and of these, 135 were confirmed as murundu, the others were bushes. This implies a hit ratio of 88,8%. Prior knowledge of the area and high resolution orthomosaic (4cm/pix) were indispensable for the verification of automatically obtained data. It is noteworthy that the methodology had a good hit rate and deserves further testing, as it is an inexpensive and fast results instrument.
