INVENTARIO DE LA COLECCIÓN DE HORMIGAS (HYMENOPTERA: FORMICIDAE) DEL CENTRO ORIENTAL DE ECOSISTEMAS Y BIODIVERSIDAD, SANTIAGO DE CUBA, CUBA

It is presented an invetory of de formicological collection of the Centro Oriental de Ecosistemas y Biodiversidad. This collection has been continuously increasing during 29 years, contains 13 887 specimens (belonging to six subfamilies, 17 tri- bes, 34 genera and 106 species, including 25 endemics and 19 tramp species), and represents 78 localities from all over Cu- ban archipelago. Three informative tables are presented: one with the distribution of the parcels by province, another with the 11 localities which contain the highest numbers of specimens, and the third containing the complete taxonomic list with the species' geographical distribution, the number of specimens and the preservation technique used. Last, it is given a list with the precise geographical position of all localities mentioned in the text.
