Role of TRT reactors in training operators for commercial power stations

The continued role of training, research, and test (TRT) reactors in supporting operation of power reactors will involve joint utility-TRT reactor planning to meet industry initiatives. This TRT role will focus largely on a coordinated effort to provide foundation training in nuclear power for personnel without previous nuclear experience and a program which will support power station operators completing the requirements for a college degree.
