Clinical Observation of Treatment of Acute Wisdom Teeth Periodontitis by Periocline

Objective To observe the clinical effects and its side-effects of Periocline(tetramycin dimethylamine hydrocloride) treating acute wisdom teeth periodontitis and compared with iodine glycerine.Methods 104 cases are randomly divided into 2 groups,lacally washed by 3% hydrogen dioxide solution and saline water and dryed. For treatment group instill Periocline ointment one time, for control group 2% iodine glycerine 1 time a day, totally 3 times, observe the effect on the fourth day. Results The effective rate of treatment group and control group are respectively 88.46% and 63.46%. Through statistical process there is obvious difference (χ 2=8.899,P 0.01). Conclusion Periocline is simple,safe and effective in treating acute periodontitis.
