This paper looks at the educational dimension of work in solidarity socio-economy, specifically in the cooperative UNIVENS part of the productive chain of cotton solidarity, called Justa Trama. It is conceived as a socio-economic solidarity space in which establish consistent dialogue with the social reality, from the knowledge acquired in the practice of collective work. This study looked beyond the complaint to a profoundly dehumanizing social system and seek with the conscious participation of the subjects, more insight into the mechanisms of overcoming the dichotomy between manual work and intellectual work-the logic of bourgeois education, laying the groundwork for the emancipation of the subject and a new social project.
