Study on the correlation between the pathogenesis of aplastic anemia and the expression of the G-CSF and TNF-α
2001
To investigate the relationship between the pathogenesis ofaplastic anemia (AA) and the levels of granulocyte colony -stimulating factor (G-CSF) and tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) in the serum and marrow of the patients with AA,and to reveal the immuno-mechanism of AA.Methods The levels of G-CSF and TNF-α in the serum and marrow were determianed with ELISA assay. Results The levels of G-CSF and TNF-α in the marrow and serum from AA patients were higher than normal controls. And the levels of G-CSF in the serum and marrow of AA patients were negatively correlated with the peripheral cell count in blood and negatively correlated with the granulocyte proportion in marrow. The levels of TNF-α in the serum and marrow were negatively correlated with the WBC,platelet and hemoglobin in blood and negatively correlated with the proportion of granulocyte, erythroc yte and megacaryocyte in marrow. Conclusion The disorder of cellular factor network may participate in the pathogenesis of AA.
