DESIGN AND ANALYSIS OF SHEAR STRESS REDUCTION IN AERO-FIN HOLED SPUR GEARS

Gears are mechanical device which is used transmission purposes. They do several important jobs, mostly speed reduction in mechanical equipments. The main objective of this study is to analyse the stress in gear tooth and to reduce the stress in the gear tooh. An ansys analysis of spur gear is used in this paper.
