A pharmaceutical composition for inhibiting abnormal cell growth in a mammal comprising an amount of (2-hydroxy-ethoxy) -amide 6- (4-bromo-2-chloro-phenylamino) -7-fluoro-3-methyl- 3H-benzimidazole-5-carboxylic acid, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, combined with an amount of a chemotherapeutic agent, wherein the amounts of the compound or salt and of the chemotherapeutic are together effective in inhibiting abnormal cell growth.
