Le rapport au travail des cadres en France. Réalisation de soi et croyances managériales

Since the 80’s, in France, firms have been more and more using new ways of management. Their aim is to increase the adherence of the employees at work. These practices and ideologies are especially reserved to the French salary category of the cadres , which is considered as a pillar of the firms on which the boards lean on. The intention of this article is to question the links between the work meanings of the executives of the cadres of the industry and the values spread by the managerial ideology. It shows how the meanings given to the work and to the firm by these high skilled employees include, partly, beliefs which idealize their work environment, allowing them to accept it better
