Depredación de la babosa Sarasinula plebeia (Gastropoda: Veronicellidae) por el vinagrillo Mastigoproctus cinteotl (Arachnida: Thelyphonida) en Tamaulipas, México

An event is described where the bean slug Sarasinula plebeia (Fischer, 1868), an exotic species in Mexico, was preyed upon by the vinegaroon Mastigoproctus cinteotl Barrales-Alcala, Francke & Prendini, 2018. This constitutes the first record of predation in the wild by this vinegaroon and the first record of S. plebeia for the state of Tamaulipas. Information regarding the prey in the wild of other species of American vinegaroons is also compiled
