A blue colored, infrared and ultraviolet radiation absorbing glass substrate containing a glass composition comprising a base glass portion and a portion having a glass colorant, the base glass portion is a sodium-lime-silica base portion and the portion selected with the glass-colorant is one of the following groups to provide a glass which has chromaticity coordinates of a * in the range -2 to -11 and b * in the range of -1 to -15, and a light transmittance of 35 to less than 70% at a reference thickness of 4.06 mm (0.160 inch) comprising: Group A: the coloring agent component includes: Total iron expressed as Fe 2.0 wt .-% (wt .-%); CoO in the range of 30 to 250 parts per million (ppm); Er TiO and Nd Group B: the coloring agent component includes: Total iron expressed as Fe 2.0 wt .-%; CoO in the range of 30 to 250 parts per million (ppm); Er Cr TiO and Nd Group C: the coloring agent component includes: Total iron expressed as Fe 2.0 wt .-%; CoO in the range of 30 to 250 parts per million (ppm); Er Cr CuO in the range of 0.001 to 0.3 wt .-%; ...
