Near-infrared electro-optic modulator based on silicon- graphene hybrid structure

Graphene has strong electro-optic effect which can be used to enhance the modulation efficiency of nanoscale photonic circuit. This paper describes recent developments for near-infrared electro-optic modulator based on silicon-graphene hybrid structure.
