O USO DAS TECNOLOGIAS DE INFORMAÇÃO NA DISCIPLINA DE ENDODONTIA DO CURSO DE ODONTOLOGIA DO CENTRO UNIVERSITÁRIO DE ANÁPOLIS

The informatics revolution has had a great impact on the population's routine, in which technology has been incorporated and used in practically all the moments and activities of our current society, and consequently in the learning process of practically all segments of education. With academics increasingly involved in information technology, especially the internet, education has also undergone changes, to suit the avalanche of information quickly and available virtually free of charge to all. To encourage and promote an improvement in the collection and transmission of general or specific information of each discipline of the Dentistry course, the University Center of Anapolis sought to incorporate these resources to suit this new world order. The discipline of Endodontics uses these information technologies in the form of various quick-test applications (quiz style), such as Socrative®, Kahoot® and Plickers®. First the academic has a part of the operative and dialogic class, with the constant interaction of the class through the teacher, who should act as mediator and encourage the doubts and discussions of the class. After this first moment, one of these tests is applied, which is performed in the form of a gymkhana, in which those involved are divided into groups or even individually, and after performing these tests, content is then resumed for subjects that academics had more doubts or lower test scores until all deficiencies were corrected. The use of technological resources in the teaching process is increasingly necessary because it makes the class more attractive, providing students with a different form of teaching. After this incorporation, the average of the academics in the endodontic disciplines improved, and all those involved were encouraged to participate. For this to be accomplished effectively, the technologies are pre-informed in a teaching plan so that academics can download applications in a timely manner and become familiar with them.
