Hypoalbuminemia due to small intestinal lymphangiectasia in a case of amebiasis with amebae in the peritoneal fluid

A case of protein-losing enteropathy with lymphangiectasia of the small bowel is presented. The patient has been followed for 11 years. Amebiasis of the peritoneum and focal amebic hepatitis were also found at one stage of her disease.
