A method for the preparation of silicon carbide, and diamond particles reinforced aluminum matrix composites

2013
The present invention discloses a process for preparing a high thermal conductivity, aluminum matrix composite and a low expansion coefficient of silicon carbide reinforced diamond particles, silicon carbide and diamond particles are mixed backbone molding, low-temperature vacuum sintering slow, the vacuum pressure impregnation way of preparation. Preparation of silicon carbide and diamond skeleton volume fraction of between 50% to 65% adjustable, silicon carbide, and diamond particles to enhance thermal conductivity of the aluminum matrix composites 250 ~ 400W / m · k, a thermal expansion coefficient of 6 × 10 -6 ~ 9 × 10-6 / adjustable between K, than the current aluminum silicon carbide composite material having high thermal conductivity is used, less than the cost of the aluminum-diamond composite.
