ANGINA INESTABLE. PROPUESTA DE PROTOCOLO DE TRATAMIENTO EN EL HOSPITAL ROBERTO RODRÍGUEZ FERNÁNDEZ DE MORÓN

espanolLa angina inestable es un sindrome coronario agudo sin elevacion del segmento ST, clinicamente importante debido a su naturaleza amenazadora e incapacitante, por las posibilidades de que preceda a un infarto agudo de miocardio; por eso esta enfermedad tiene indicacion de ingreso en la Unidad de Terapia Intensiva. Variadas son las estrategias terapeuticas, y diversas las formas en que se puede enfrentar el tratamiento de cada paciente, pero en muchas ocasiones se necesita de intervencion coronaria percutanea, procedimiento que no se realiza en este hospital. Por estas razones se necesita establecer una guia de tratamiento para esta enfermedad con el fin de optimizar los farmacos, y de seleccionar adecuadamente a los pacientes que necesitan traslado a un hospital con servicio de cardiologia intervencionista. En este trabajo se presenta una propuesta de protocolo de tratamiento que sirva de guia a quienes atendemos diariamente a pacientes con esta enfermedad, en el Hospital Universitario �Roberto Rodriguez Fernandez�, de Moron. EnglishUnstable angina is an acute coronary syndrome without elevation of the ST segment. It is clinically important because of its threatening and crippling nature, due to the possibility that it could precede acute myocardial infarction. That is why it is determined that the patient suffering from this condition must be hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit. There are various therapeutic strategies and several forms to approach the treatment of each patient, but in many cases it is necessary a percutaneous coronary intervention and this procedure is not carried out in this hospital. That is why it is necessary to establish a guideline for the treatment of this condition with the aim of optimizing the medications and making an adequate selection of the patients who require being transferred to a hospital with interventional cardiology services. A proposal for treatment protocol is presented in this work. It can function as a guideline for those who on daily basis treat patient with this condition at the Roberto Rodriguez Fernandez University Hospital in Moron city.
