Photonic generation, wireless transmission, and detection of continuously tunable chirped millimeter-wave waveforms with ultra-high compression ratio at W-band

By using fast-sweeping fiber distributed Bragg reflector lasers and wideband/high-power photonic transmitter-mixers at W-band, continuously tunable chirped millimeter-wave waveforms generation, wireless transmission, and detection with record-high compression ratio (89-103 GHz/50μs/7×10 5 ) can be achieved.
