Explaining Interaction Effects: A Commentary
2020
Andersson, Cuervo-Cazurra, and Nielsen (Journal of International Business Studies 45 (9): 1063–1071, 2014) tackle a very important issue: justification of interaction hypotheses. Most IB models contain at least one interaction hypothesis, and yet it is clear that investigators are not always sure how to go about arguing for them. Andersson et al. (Journal of International Business Studies 45 (9): 1063–1071, 2014) take the reader through the justification process from start to finish, pointing out pitfalls along the way. Any IB scholar would do well to read this article before writing his or her next introduction section.
