Change in the properties of lignite briquettes with hydrolysis lignin additions in storage

Regression analysis of data on the sulfonation with oleum of 40 samples of Donbass hard coals from gas coals to lean caking ones was performed. The maximum value of the dynamic exchange capacity of the sulfocoals was reached when using coking coals. The optimal nature of the vitrains of these coals in sulfonation confirmed the calculations of the kinetic model of the process for vitrinites of the coals of the metamorphism series within the interval from R r = 0.4 to 3.9%. The region of the maximum reaction temperature corresponds to vitrinites with R r = 1.2-1.4% when the reaction is conducted under adiabatic conditions ensuring the highest reactivity relative to the introduction of the sulfogroups and an increase in the mass of the sulfocoals.
