An interviewing action within a southern Bavarian district showed that the functions of woodland in connection with a private agricultural farm have changed in comparison with classical theories, about the meaning of forests for farmers. More or less, farm forests tend to become an investment good rather than a source of continuous income or a place to work in wintertime.
