Advanced Dart Concepts

This chapter is a bit of a hodgepodge of advanced language features that didn’t fit in any other chapter. Since this is a beginner’s book, the goal is to give you a taste of each feature, rather than to delve into it deeply. With the possible exception of exceptions, you probably will not find most of these language features useful until you are at the point where you are writing quite sophisticated programs. At the same time, knowing about them is helpful at this stage, because this allows you to read others’ code that utilizes them. There’s nothing more frustrating than reading someone else’s source code that’s filled with a language feature that you don’t understand.
