In various embodiments, an optoelectronic assembly (10) is provided, comprising: an organic light emitting device (1); a temperature sensor (52) for detecting a temperature value; and a controller (50) which is coupled with the organic light emitting device (1) and the temperature sensor (52) and which is adapted, at power up of the organic light emitting device (1) to the organic light emitting device (1) an AC voltage (Uw) to create, at least temporarily lower than a current threshold voltage (Uth) of the organic light emitting device (1) if the sensed temperature value is smaller than a predetermined temperature threshold, and to the organic light emitting device (1) a direct voltage (Ug) to create greater than the current threshold voltage (Uth) of the organic light emitting device (1) if a measured value is equal to or greater than a predetermined threshold value.
