Relación padre-hijo y las implicaciones en el uso de sustancias psicoactivas: una revisión sistemática

This article aims at discussing about the variables involved in drug abuse in adolescence, focusing on the parentchild relationship. Method: Throughout a systematic review of the literature, it has been sought to analyze research publications of the last five years, published in the MedLine, Web of Science, GALE and Science Direct databases. These papers were firstly chosen by reading its abstracts, since they behold the previously set out criteria. Results: It was searched and selected 146 papers. From this number, 16 empirical studies were selected, nine of them being longitudinal studies. Articles selected for the research were also from the years 2008 to 2014. The sample was predominantly composed by adolescents and several countries were represented in it. It was applied interviews, databases and questionnaires about drug abuse and parental attitudes for data collection. Conclusion: Results have pointed out that parental attitudes were influential in drug abuse or not in adolescence.
