Applicability of Linear Models Describing Acoustic-Wave Propagation

The applicability of linear models describing the interaction of probing acoustic waves with vibrational and acoustic fields is considered. Parameters introduced in the models permit assessment of the linearity. These parameters determine the applicability of the models.
