99mTc-MAG3: Image Wisely

Administration of doses of technetium 99m mertiatide in the range of 300–370 MBq (approximately 8–10 mCi) does not improve imaging interpretation and results in excess radiation to the patient; the results of this study support limiting the administered doses to 37–185 MBq (1.0–5.0 mCi) as recommended by expert and existing guidelines.
