Van Yöresinde Yetişen Lens orientalis (Boiss.) Hand & Mazz. ve Cicer anatolicum Alef. Bitki Kök Topraklarından Streptomyces Suşlarının İzolasyonu ve Antimikrobiyal Aktivitelerinin Belirlenmesi

2012
The antimicrobial activity and colour groupping of Streptomyces strains isolated from root soil of Lens orientalis (Boiss.) Hand & Mazzin. Alef and Cicer anatolicum naturally distributed in Van province were determined. The strains isolated from soil were divided into 25 colour groups in terms of melanine pigment production and substrate-micelium and aerial-micelium colours. While some of colour groups contain more than five test organisms. The antimicrobial activity of 11 referance Streptomyces strains and 87 new isolated strains were determined against eight pathogenous and non-pathogenous bacteria. It was determined that the 65.3 % Bacillus subtilis, 54 % Escherichia coli, 45.9 % Proteus vulgaris, 53 % Pseudomonas aeruginosa, 10.2 % Salmonella enteridis, 44.8 % Staphylococcus aureus, 58.1 % Streptococcus pyogenes ve 56.1 % Xanthomonas compestris have antimicribial activity against pathogenous and non-pathogenous bacteria.
